Ordering from Karmin

Is shopping on Karmin safe and secure?

Yes of course, any credit card information you enter on Karmin is securely encrypted by industry-standard protocol, SSL (Secure Sockets Layer). Karmin uses SSL to communicate with secure browsers like Internet Explorer, Firefox and Netscape. These browsers encrypt your credit card and personal information in a way that makes it extremely difficult for anyone to intercept and misuse while being transmitted between your computer and our server. If your browser is not secure, you will not be able to purchase on Karmin.

Shipping Information

Where are my products shipped from?

We have warehouses in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom and Hong Kong so your product will be shipped from the warehouse closest to you.

Do you provide international shipping?

Yes, we can ship to almost any country, to see which countries we ship to please visit our shipping details page.

How do I track my order?

To track your package, sign in here, go to "My Account" and review your Order History. If your item has shipped, tracking information will be added to your account.

Why does my order still show as processing?

If your order says "Processing", it is being prepared for shipping. If it says "Shipped", we've handed it off to a shipping carrier and you can view any available tracking information in your account.

If you do not have an account with us, tracking information will be provided in your shipping confirmation email.

Can I ship to a different address than my billing address?

Yes, you can and will have this option during checkout.

What are basic shipping costs?

We offer Free Shipping on all orders with standard delivery worldwide.

How much is international shipping?

Free, We offer worldwide shipping at no extra cost. Please note that shipping to some countries can take up to 2 weeks. For more information on international shipping please visit our shipping details page.

Will I pay sales tax or customs on my international order?

Depending on your Country’s customs policy, yes, you may be charged tax or customs on your package. If you are located in the following countries you will not be charged: Canada, the United States, Colombia, China, Europe, and the United Kingdom.

What if I cannot be there to accept my parcel upon delivery?

If you are not around to accept your parcel, the carrier will leave a card with details as to where your parcel is. You can then contact them to arrange a mutually convenient time to re-deliver or alternatively arrange collection from a local post office.

Returns & Exchanges

How do I return my product?

Important* Please DO NOT send the item back to the same address you received it from without contacting us first.

1. For returns, please send your receipt and give your reason for return to cs@karmin.ca. We will reply and let you know what steps to follow.

2. If possible, reuse your original shipping box and packing materials to secure the item(s).

3. Please return the item in the same condition in which you received it.

4. Unfortunately, we cannot refund orders received later than 21 days from the original purchase date.


My package arrived damaged, what do I do?

If your package arrived damaged please contact customer service ASAP so that we can take care of the situation accordingly and get a new product delivered to you right away. Please visit our contact page for phone and email information.

How will I know my return has been received?

As soon as your return has been processed by our warehouse, you will receive an updated email as confirmation of your return.

In the unlikely event that you do not receive this email within 15 days of posting your parcel to us, please get in touch with Customer Service and we'll get back to you as soon as possible.

If you have returned your parcel using a service that can be tracked, please provide the reference number and carrier when you contact us.

How do I receive my refund?

Refunds will be made to the card used for the original transaction. Please allow 3-5 business days for the amount to post to your account after refunding. If you paid using PayPal then your PayPal account will be credited accordingly.

Can I cancel my order?

Once your order passes our initial security measures it is immediately sent to our distribution centre to be dispatched. While we will aim to accommodate any order changes or cancellation requests but we cannot guarantee these can be actioned.

If I return my item under warranty will I be reimbursed for shipping costs?

Karmin does not cover the return shipping costs however, we will cover the cost to ship any replacement item.


Do you have an extended returns policy over the Christmas period?

Yes, because we understand that Christmas can be a busy time of year, we have an extended returns policy. Orders placed between the 1st of November and the 24th of December, may be returned at any time until the 1st of February.


How long is my warranty?

Please visit the product page of the product you are interested in to see the length of the warranty for your product.

What does the warranty cover?

Warranty will cover all items that are damaged or no longer function due to factory defects. Items that are dropped or mistreated are not covered by the warranty.

How do I register my product?

Your product will come with an authentication card and hologram security number. To register your product visit the registration page.

Both of these professional flat irons include the amazing benefits of ceramic and tourmaline however, as the name states, the Karmin Titanium Styling Iron features the lustrous metallic element Titanium and our Karmin G3 features a newer improved technology with Pure Tourmaline and Ceramic.

What are the plates of the Karmin G3 Salon Pro Hair Styling Iron made of?

What are the plates of the Karmin Titanium Styling Iron made of?

The plates on the Karmin Titanium Styling Iron are made using 100% pure Titanium combined with ceramic.

What is the operating temperature of the Karmin Hair Straighteners?

The Karmin Titanium Styling Iron has a variable temperature setting from 80°C (176°F) to 240°C (460°F) while the Karmin G3 has a low of 120°C (250°F) and a high 240°C (460°F). The variable temperature settings make both of these styling irons perfect for all hair types.

Does my styler have a sleep mode?

Safety is a priority for Karmin so our Styling Irons feature an automatic sleep mode which turns your styling iron off after 1 hour of non-use.

How quickly should my styler heat up?

The professional grade, flash-quick heating element has your iron heat up to its set temperature within 30 seconds. The light on your flat iron will go from flashing to steady once your iron is ready to use.

How long is the cord on the Karmin Hair Straighteners?

Karmin Styling Irons feature a tangle free, 3 meter, 360° swivel cord so you can style with ease be it at home or in the salon.

Which of the Karmin hair straighteners is best for my hair type?

The Karmin G3 Salon Pro and Karmin Titanium are both designed with variable temperature settings making them suitable for every hair type. Those with fragile, thin and/or chemically processed hair (colored, permed) can safely style their hair using a lower heat setting while those with stubborn, thick, curly and/or coarse hair can achieve smooth, flawless styles using a higher heat setting.

Can I use the Karmin hair straighteners with Keratin treatments?

Because the Karmin Styling Irons are designed with advanced temperature control, many users have found that they are a very effective tool to use alongside Keratin treatments. Most treatments require a flat iron that heats up to 400 degrees or higher as the high temperature is necessary for proper application as well as maintaining your treatment. However, all Keratin treatments vary, therefore we recommend you consult your stylist to confirm what is best for maintaining your treatment.

How do I clean my Karmin hair straightener?

Buildup and residue from hair care products can stick to the plates of your styling iron and keep it from performing as it should. To keep your styling iron clean, simply wipe the plates using a soft, damp cloth before or after every use. Make sure your iron is unplugged and cool before cleaning. Never use any type of cleaner to clean your flat iron as this can cause damage to the plates.

What is ionic technology?

Ionic technology is a process which works to change the structure of the hair shaft by attaching negative ions to positively charged hair. In return this reduces static and frizz as well as boosts shine and leaves hair feeling soft.

What is ceramic heat?

Ceramic heat is the use of a ceramic heating element in a hair tool. When heated, the ceramic element generates negative ions and far infrared heat which provide healthier styling as well as benefits like smoother, shinier hair.

What does Ceramic Ionic Technology mean?

The term ‘Ceramic Ionic Technology’ comes from the fact that when ceramic is heated it creates negative ions.

What is an AC motor?

An AC motor is a high performance motor which is more durable and longer lasting than a standard DC motor. An AC motor provides a powerful air velocity which in return works to dry hair faster.

How does the "Cool Shot" button work?

When you push the cool shot button the heater is turned off while the air speed stays the same.

How can I use my hair dryer safely?
  • Keep the air vent clean (see your manual for cleaning instructions).
  • Avoid drying soaking wet hair. Remove excess water from hair by gently squeezing with a towel. Do not rub hair with the towel as the friction can cause frizz, split ends and damage.
  • Never handle your hair dryer with wet hands or near any water (sink, tub, toilet etc).
  • Keep your hair dryer a minimum of 6 inches away from your scalp while drying your hair.
  • Keep your hair dryer moving at all times to avoid applying too much heat in one spot.
  • Allow your hair dryer to cool before storing it.
Karmin G3 Salon Pro Hair Dryer has low EMF. What is EMF?

EMF stands for Electromagnetic Field. Low EMF means that the motor in your hair dryer produces a lower-than average amount of EMF radiation. Although EMF radiation is very common and generally harmless, it can contribute to health problems in high concentrations.

How do I clean my Karmin dryer filter?

The filter works to keep dust and hair out of your hair dryer so regular cleaning is an important step in maintaining your hair dryer. Gently turn the filter ring on the back of your hair dryer to the left to disconnect it and remove the filter screen. The filter screen can be cleaned using a small cleaning brush or old clean toothbrush. Gently brush away any debris. Replace the filter screen and re-attach the ring by turning it to the right.

Why a Tapered Barrel on the Karmin Clipless Curling Iron?

The Karmin G3 Clipless Curling Iron was designed with a tapered barrel (1/2”-1”) so that you can achieve different styles with just one tool. A smaller barrel creates tighter curls whereas a larger barrel gives big, loose curls. When wrapping your hair around the barrel you can create ringlets by keeping hair wrapped closely together at the smaller end of the barrel. Wrapping hair loosely and slightly spaced out along the barrel will create larger loose curls while spacing hair even more will give you soft waves. The styling possibilities are endless with a tapered barrel!
